will I get my job even tho I have been taking vicodin on a script?

I was laid off and I had 2 weeks of insurance left so I went to every doctors appt imaginable. I got major dental work done and was precribed vicodin for the crazy pain.. I was offered a job right absent and took a drug test immediately while taking the hurting pills. Will I loose this job possibility due to this prescription?

You shouldn't. Did you notify them that you have a script? Try this - Have someone else call and inquire about the job. Have them mention they are prescribed a controlled Rx, and ask about their policy concerning that.
