I went back to the gym final June and regularly did my my usual routine. Cardio and weight lifts. then I experienced aching of my elbows and arms. I guess I might have overdone it caused there was some swelling at the muscles approach the elbow. The swelling has gone but there is that persistent ache that comes and goes whenever my arms are exposed to cold weather, airconditioning etc. Have tried muscle relaxants but have stopped cause it does not help. Also did the hurting relievers but stopped since it just still aches. Do I have arthritis? Also can acupuncture help? I dont want to be like this and not find a cure.
The aching in your elbows comes from the tendons having tightened up for your muscles. That makes the muscles shorter than they should be so the hurting happens in the joint areas as the muscles pull there whenever they tighten up. Because they are not fully released the bloodless on them finishes them off. Acupuncture will not release them for you, it might ease hurting for a day or two but as soon as the cold is there so will be the pain. Each muscle has a separate release to them so getting rid of the pain can take a bit but without knowing which muscles are involved there isn't much more I can do.
