What are some of the best ways to promote a website?

I've tried facebook, Myblog, Yahoo Answers, inputting metatags, writing content (i have over 600 articles approximately health mind and spiritualism) but still...it seems like traffic is coming in at a snail's pace. Less than a snail's pace. A snail on valium would travel faster than traffic tio my site. Any other suggestions?

Hey, nice blogspot.

One object you need to have is a newsletter sign up form. Create a newsletter on uncooked food recipes disease prevention ect.. That way the traffic won't always be getting new visitors, but also Return visitors.

And, you are probably not targeting the correct keywords in your articles. I bet whether edited those articles with good keywords (with the right Seo techniques) and set them up in a link network then the traffic would gain a ton. Plus, you would have that newsletter set up to for the new visitors.

Also, you should consider having a Web site. You can still keep your blog for the fresh content, but a site would look better. Just make the blog one of the site pages.
