Can you mix hydrocodone and xanax for wisdom teeth pain?

I got all four wisdom teeth removed the other day, I am in a lot of pain and I have been taking 1 hydro every 4 hours as directed, should I perhaps take them every 3 or double the dosage to help me? I already have somewhat of a tolerance to them.. I have xanax which I think will help me as well but is it ok to mix the two? I'm talking like only one of each.. what do you think?

Italianb, It's not a good idea to up your hydrocodone without your doctor's permission and it won't kill you on the zanax with it but this also needs to be approved by a physician. Good Luck Rita V
