I started taking Ssris almost a week ago, and the side effects include a decreased libido, longer to accomplish sexual climax, and my climaxes have less sensation.

Is this a short-term effect as my body is adjusting to the drug or is it a side effect i am stuck with?

A lot of them have decreased libido, which in my case, is pretty much long-term. Some, Paxil in particular, will cause nasty sexual side effects for men. inbox me if u have more questions.

All the antidepressants generally while the Ssris specially have an effect on Cns which in turn brings libido decline, less sensation and the most observed side effect is ejaculatory delay. As all the drugs have an interaction with body metabolism and so are Ssris, particularly react with Cns-metabolism and in turn Cns effect less or large all the body systems e.g bowel system but all these effects will be observed from 15-25 days and after that all the systems will be normal.
