Whether I took Amoxicillin this morning can I take Zithromax this evening?

Physician prescribed Amoxicillian 4 days ago for my sinus infection and actually it is getting worse, my throat hurts and can hardly talk. So I went to see another physician yesterday and he prescribed the Zpack (zithromax). I wasn't certain when I could pick up the medicine from the pharmacy so I went on and took the Amoxicillian this morning. My impeach is can I take the zithromax now or this evening or do I need to wait until tomorrow to start it?

Zithromax have salt Azithromycin which is suitable for acute bacterial sinusitis (sinus infection). Which could be taken with or without food. There is no reported drug interaction with amoxicillin in literature the only drug interaction is with Antacids so have a gap of 2-3 hrs in case of this. Take the recommended dose as prescribed by your physician only. Since amoxicillin have a duration of action of 8-12 hrs; you can take zithromax in the late evening hrs (after 10 hrs approx) take full 3 days course of it.
Call a pharmacist, don't take advice online from one who says he/she is but doesn't write total sentences.
