Best and inexpensive blood pressure monitor?

My Mother has severe high blood pressure and takes several pills for that heart condition. However she would like to monitor her blood pressure daily. What would be the best and cheap blood pressure monitor available? She is kind of old so she would like an automatic blood pressure monitor.
Her nurse advised her to check at her pharmacy but the blood pressure monitors there were way too expensive for her.

My daughter also has high blood pressure and like your mother she is taking several blood pressure medications.It is very important to monitor your blood pressure everyday in order to check whether the medications are working or not. Out there you have a lot of inexpensive blood pressure monitors but I would suggest the Omron Hem 711a/C as it is extremely accurate(my daughter blood pressure readings are identical as the one that she is getting from the doctor office) and I believe it is affordable as well around $40 now. We are very happy with this domestic blood pressure device so far.Good luck.
