is cipro good for sinus infection?

im leavin the country for a couple months and my sinus's are a wreck. i was supposed to have sinus surgery until this trip come up and now im starting to get the headaches everyday and most of them in my brow and backside the eyes. the doctor gave me cipro 500 mg to take for one month once daily and also a steriod pack to take while i was gone. just wondering whether this will take care of a sinus infection, i know it sounds like a lot for a sinus infection but they receive very severe, sometimes i cant ever receive outta be theres so much pressure in my head. just way to dizzy. thanks for anyones help

I believe the Cipro will knock that sinus infection correct out. I had bronchitis and a urinary tract infection at the same time once and a friend of mine gave me 1 Cipro and whammo knocked em both out with just that 1 pill. I was amazed. I hope you feel better )
