I recently had Chlamydia. I been getting all the facts straight, to be more specific with my doctors. I had unprotected sex on June16th. Felt nothing until around July 5th. Though it was a Uti, luckily parents had amoxicillin lying around and Cranrx (cranberry pills), so without a proper diagnosis I started taking the medication in hopes that the urinary tract infection would go away. I heard they were very unusual in men but should only last 2-3 max. It lasted more so finally I remembered that I had had unprotected sex a few weeks before that and started doing research and found out it was Chlamydia so I went to receive tested for Stds and Stis. Chlamydia Positive. Given 1.5g Azithromycin (zithromax). In About 1 week 2 days the whole infection cleared. So I carried the infection from June 16th till around July 16 or 17. So I had chlamydia for around a month, like I said symptoms started showing like around the 3rd week of that month. Now that chlamydia is gone, sometimes I feel some wierd tickle sensations in my urethra, its only every now and then and it is really quick. But also when I urinate its just mildly different like at the head of the urethra when the urine is coming out it is not a straight stream till it passes that point. Im not certain whether im making sense. But I think it may be possible that I have a slight urethral stricture. I am getting checked by a urologist 3 weeks from now. Just reply me this
How long would you have to have Chlamydia or Ngu (non-gonococcal Urethritis) for to get a urethral stricture?
I am sorry i do not know the reply for your question but i have chlamydia too and my doctor gave me Azithromycin too but only 2 pills to take at the same time (so only one time)
So i was wandering if u had the same object? and do those 2 pills receive rid of chlamydia because i was thinking it is a long progress to receive rid of ii though had to take pills for weeks or something like that
It really depends on the person. some people have chlamydia for so long their body fights it off and are cleared of it on their own. Just like you'd do with the flu or any other infection. And then it never causes any damage. Others can have it a short time and have damage. It really just depends. Good luck to you. That's a big price to pay for having sex with someone. Hopefully they didn't know they had this before they gave it to you.
