What will a valium do for dentistry?

I went to a new dentist nowadays for some dentist work. I was extremely nervous, so he said we could reschedule and he gave me a Rx for two tablets of valium. He said to take one an hour before my appointment and bring the other one to my appointment. He is also going to use nitrous oxide. Thanks

Valiums are an anxiety medication. Did you tell him you were anxious at all? If so, that is the reason. They will get rid of the nervousness.
