I'm flying from the midwest to Miami, then boarding a cruise ship, destination Western Carribean. Both my husband and I take a variety of prescription medications and Otc medications. It would really cut down on the amount of stuff in our carry-ons whether we could just fill our day by day tablet organizers instead of bringing 15 different pill bottles. Is this allowed or must medications be in original bottles? If not in bottles, do we have to have paperwork showing they really are valid prescriptions?

You don't have to have the medicine in the original bottle, but I would recommend it. You also should have a note from the physician about your condition and papers saying your perscription is legitimate. If you have any other questions, go to tsa.gov.
