What are the differences in effects between Xanax and Valium?

I thought they were pretty much the same object. I've heard Valium is weaker/less effective

it is the same, but Xanax is more popular i guess, i take it

i thought valium was weak as shit. i just felt very tired thats it. didnt really help my temper. i've never tried xanax but i've heard good things approximately them

valium reacts slower, doesn't hit as tough, but lasts longer 20-100 hours. xanx reacts faster, hits harder, but lasts 6-12 hours.... 5mg of xanox is comparable to 10mg of valium xanax imo is better for anxiety, sleep.

By its effects, 0.5 mg dose of xanox (alprazolam) is about equal to 10 mg of Valium (diazepam).

They are both benzodiazepines, though different. xanox is stronger, but it is mostly effective for about 2 hours. Valium peak-level effects wear off after 1 hour, but it stays in blood longer, and continues working for about 12 hours. Also, Valium is said to produce less severe withdrawal symptoms than Xanax.
