Can I take Cipro whether...?

Is it okay to take Cipro if I had a yeast infection a couple weeks ago. I got a Uti shortly after it cleared up. Don't antibiotics cause them sometimes?

Cipro is not an anti-fungal anti-biotic------if there is secondary infection it helps
anti do not cause them-----they can give rise to some side -effects only
infact Cipro is a particular drug of selection for Uti
