I've frequent urge to pee for quite some time final week and went to the physician's, got diagnosed with severe Uti and the doctor sent my urine for a bacteria culture prescribed me some antibiotics. While having the antibiotics, I felt a lot better. I had a 5 days antibiotics till Sunday. Then yesterday I went to gather the review from my dr, and being still symptomatic, I had another test which cleared me off Uti but the physician did give me 4 days more worth of antibiotics (cipro) and asked me to receive citravescent and alcohol 2 sachets a day, which I did. Oh, btw the culture showed mixed bacteria growth so they couldn't fairly tell what's the leading factor.
The object is, I had my exams today and prior to that I drank coffee. After that I drank black tea, and I am going to the toilet again with slight backaches (much better than when I had severe infection)
Should I go to the dr again?
Ive had 13 Uti's in a year. Caffeine is what triggers these for me.
Go to Dr. I am finally non symptomatic for nearly 2 weeks because
I finally realized that I can have No caffeine at all.
Cranberry pills and young coconut water are the preventatives.
Good Luck
