Qd means one every day Take one every day for 3 days.

Zithromax (or Azithromycin to give it it's generic name) is usually given at a dose of either 250mg twice a day or 500mg once a day. So, whether it's a 500mg pill, it'll be Od, which means once a day, not Qd. The abbreviations we use for pill dosage are

OD - once daily
BD - twice daily
TID (or Tds) - three times daily
QID (or Qds) - four times daily
Mane - in the morning
Nocte - at night
PRN - when needed
