Do dreams still have meaning when you're taking pain pills?

So I'm very big into dream interpretations and all that jazz. I think it's our subconscious's way of telling us things. Usually whenever I can remember a dream, I look up the meaning, which brings me to my question.
I had some pretty intense surgery about a week ago, and they have had me on Hydromorphone or Dilaudid, and my dreams have been really intense since. I remember most all of them, but since they are so crazy I don't know if it's the medication or still my subconscious.

What do you think?

Just bec you take medication does not mean that you don't stop dreaming. Right? So why would it stop telling you things? When your on medication it just makes your dreams stronger because you are more open and you are asleep more. So if you were on medication and taking that strong all it did was make your dreams strong also. So yes your dreams sent you messages and yes your dreams mean something to you even though you were on medication.
