Can I take activated charcoal pills if I'm on the Nuva Ring?

I read that taking charcoal can interfere with the absorption of medication but I'm hoping it's okay to take since the Nuva Ring is not taken orally. Anyone know whether it will interfere? I definitely don't want to take any risks when it comes to birth control! Please only reply whether you know the answer- no guessers. Thanks!

I'm certain you can. Activated charcoal only absorbs whats in your stomach. I do know that it once absorbed my oral bc tablet causing my cycle to start early. Nuva ring is different though.
