Can i begin my yeast infection medication tonight?

I just got my pills to insert for my infection but i had sex earlier today. I was wondering should i still start the medication, because my physician said not to have sex for 6 days. I think she meant not to have sex whether i already started the treatment because it is for 6 days but am not really certain. Should i start it tonight or tomorrow night?
Oh yea and can my partner get it. it was unprotected sex because am pregnant.

Yes begin you medication tonight, and do Not have sex until your infection clears and you have finished all of your medication. If you have sex while you are still infected it will transfer to your partner. He will not have any symptoms, but he will be able to reinfect you.
