I looked up this new drug weight loss plan called Alli is contains Xenical which helps to promote weight loss. It absorbs all the fat from foods, but u cant eat major fatty foods or the pill will make u sick. So basically its like eat healthy on this tablet or suffer the consequenses. Can a Steady doctor prescribe this to an overweight patient? Does anyone know how it feels to be on Alli or Xenical Weight Loss pill? My mum used Xenical to lose weight and it has worked really well for her. I would say she was on it for a little under a year and she lost shut to thirty kilos. In the two years or so, since losing the weight she has kept it off so I guess for her at least - it works!
Xenical doesn't make you sick if you eat high fat foods, but man! - you get the need to defecate pretty quick! Apart from that, she had no other side effects. Oh - and it doesn't absorb All the fat from food - a good percentage but no all - you certainly wouldn't want that anyway.
Diet she used was simply a clean food diet - fruit, vegies, lean meat, fairly a bit of fish etc...though did supplement with a vitamin supplement.
Based on her experiences I would say worth a try.
