is it dangerous to mix xanax and hydrocodone?

I am perscribed xanax for my anxiety, and i recently was in a car accident which has led to me being perscribed 5 MG hydrocodone....although i am in pain i took a xanax for an attack i was having (.25 MG) so i also took a hydrocodone, is that ok?
i just checked the xanax and its only .125...so i think i'll be okay
