Well they are different types of infamous.
Valium is more innocent (in the sense that it is not linked to as many rock star' deaths) but it is more often prescribed.
Xanax seems to be involved in more deaths but is not as commonly prescribed.
If I had to pick one, I'd go with Xanax.
Valium (diazepam) was put on the market in 1963 and Xanax (alprazolam) came out in 1981 so Valium has been around much longer. Also Valium was the most prescribed drug between 1969 and 1982, with a zenith in 1978 of over 2 billion pills. The Rolling Stones have the infamous song mother's Little Helper, approximately the use of Valium by house wife's. People often know the colours of Valium, primarily yellow and blue. Valium is associated with more people and more deaths. Both Valium and Xanx are, alone, very safe it is almost impossible to die from either drug but when mixed with opioids, barbiturates, drink, or other drugs they can be very dangerous. But I would, by far, say barbiturates, not benzodiazepines (the lesson of drugs Valium and Xanax is in) are more of the rock star drugs' especially Seconal (secobarbital), Nembutal (pentobarbital), Amytal (amobarbital), and Tuinal (secobarbital/amobarbital The Ramones sang about Tuinal, Aerosmith abused Tuinal and Seconal several people died from using barbiturates alone in in combination with other drugs best known are Jimi Hendrix (seconal),
Elvis Presley (multiple drugs, including several barbiturates), Judy Garland (seconal), and Marilyn Monroe (nembutal, chloral hydrate).
Many, whether not most of the biggest rock stars have used, abused, or died from barbiturates. But I would say a lot of people associate Valium with housewife's more than any other one group of people. But it is lucid that Valium, Xanax, and other benzodiazepines are still popular among the famous-
Anna Nicole Smith died of polysubstance abuse
Chloral hydrate, Klonopin (clonazepam), Ativan (lorazepam), Serax (oxazepam), Valium (diazepam). Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and Topamax (topiramate). A complete of four benzodiazepines and a similar drug, chloral hydrate, a hypnotic. Heath Ledger died of polysubstance abuse
Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Valium (diazepam), Restoril (temazepam), Xanax (alprazolam) and doxylamine and antihistamine. He took three benzodiazepines.
Aside from housewife's, Valium was often just something most people took on occasion. Valium has also become a part of the culture, I can think of many movies and Tv shows where them mention Valium but Xanax is not as well known as most people think. But if I had to pick between Valium and Xanax I would say Valium.
Although Miltown was huge..... everyone forgot approximately that drug, I wonder why?
well,I guess it has to be valium..
But that's just my guess )
