I'm having trouble with sleeping and I need pills to help me get some sleep. I haven't gone to the physician, but I want to take valium pills. I don't care whether it's not prescribe or what, I need em.

So, can I purchase valium from our local drugstore (mercury drug) without a prescription presented?
what are the side effects of valium?
how much is one tablet?

Without a prescription, you can't buy them legally. I'd really think twice approximately this, since valium can be very addictive and deadly.
Side effects range from weight gain to death.

Valium is a very safe, effective medication; but, it does require a prescription. There are fair medical doctors who will write a six month provide without any concern. I guess you should just ask a friend or your family physician for assistance in finding a caring doc. You are not seeking an opiate rather, a medication that will allow you to operate. The source of my remarks is from my family doctor.

I don't know if you can receive it without prescription, wherever you are, but here's some info on Valium:

Diazepam (trade Name: Valium)

Used for anxiety, convulsions, insomnia, seizures, muscle spasms

If you take it for sleep then all it's other action will be side effects for you so including the standard side effects: belly upset blurred vision headache confusion depression impaired coordination change in heart rate trembling weakness memory loss hangover effect (grogginess) dreaming or nightmares

I won't go into mechanism or anything else (you obviously don't need that). Obviously don't drive or use machinery when taking this. Can lead to addiction, but unlikely at the dose for minor insomnia (unless you binge on the pills)

There are other matters you can take such as Kalms tablets (a natural remedy) with very little side effects though whether you change your mind.

Considering that Valium is a narcotic, you will not be able to buy the drug without a prescription. Any prescription that you will take to help with sleep is a narcotic and will need to be prescribed by the doctor.

Call your physician at once whether you have any of these serious side effects: confusion, unusual thoughts or behavior; unusual risk-taking behavior, decreased inhibitions, no fear of danger; depressed temper, thoughts of suicide or pain yourself;
agitation, hostility;
light-headed, fainting;
twitching, tremor;
chills, body aches, flu symptoms;
(yellowing of the skin or eyes); or
less than usual or not at all.
Less serious side effects may include:

tiredness;
vision;
problems (insomnia);
weakness, lack of balance or coordination;
speech;
vomiting, constipation;
rash; or
of interest in sex

It's also a schedule Iv drug under the Convention of Psychotropic Substances.

The Misuse of Drugs Behave 1971 makes it illegal to possess the drug without a prescription, and for such purposes it is classified as a Class C drug. list of Controlled Drugs

Firstly Valium (diazepam) is Not a narcotic. Technically, from a scientific view, a narcotic only refers to an opioid analgesic like heroin, morphine, methadone, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydromorphone, and fentanyl.

In many countries including The United States, the Legal definition of a narcotic is either an opioid or cocaine/crack. Although numerous people refer to all drugs with an abuse potential narcotic they are incorrect. Valium is a schedule Iv controlled substance in The Us, Canada, Australia, The Philippines and under International law. It is a class C drug in The United Kingdom.

So Valium is a drug of abuse, which is why it is controlled. Valium is Not approved for treatment (long or short term) of insomnia. It has many medical uses, more so than most drugs, but it is not a good sleeping medication.

I am not sure why exactly you want Valium specifically but it is not a good sleeping medication. Some doctors do erroneously prescribe it for sleep but Valium alters you sleep architecture (brain waves when you sleep) witch is divided into several categories, N1, N2, N3, and Rem. Valium will, among other things, eliminate sleep stage N3 (delta sleep), the deepest sleep. So you might sleep a full night but quickly you may find your sleep is not very restorative because you are not sleeping properly.

There are other drugs that are approved for insomnia and do not have any meaningful alternation in sleep architecture, examples include temazepam, zolpidem, zaleplon, zopiclone, and eszopiclone. These are, for the most part, the best hypnotics.

So please see a physician, he can prescribe medication based on your exact needs. Zolpidem and zaleplon are best for people who can't fall asleep, temazepam, zopiclone, and eszopiclone are best for people who wake up and/or have problems falling asleep. So depending on the nature and severity of your problem will determine the best medication. Valium and the hypnotics I listed require a pescription and a pharmacy will Not dispense them without a prescription. I do not know the exact laws in the Philippines (a link to the laws in below) but in most countries it is unlawful to obtain Valium and it would be illegal for the pharmacy to dispense notwithstanding possession alone is typically not a crime. Notwithstanding The Philippines has very strict laws and possession of many drugs can result in death or life in in prison. So please see a doctor and get an appropriate drug. I believe you need a hypnotic but you need a good hypnotic, not Valium. The most common side effects from all the drugs I mentioned, including Valium, are sedation, dizziness, reminiscence loss, loss of inhibitions, muscle weakness (more common with Valium, not the others), blurred vision, and dry mouth.

you should avoid taking pills as much as possible. there are alternative ways to help u sleep better. u first have to pin point the factor that hinders u to sleep normally. avoid caffeine (chocolate, coffee, tea). as the end of the day comes, try to lessen ur activities and avoid thinking stuffs that makes ur intellect active. or u may try lesser evil medication like taking antihistamines like chlorphenamine or diphenhydramine. (unless u have hypertension). These antihistamines will help u to feel sleepy as yheir side effects. or try unisom to put u to sleep.

or go to sleep clinic. it is better to receive help from the experts.
