I have been suffering from anxiety/depression for about a year. I finally receive an appointment with a psychiatrist and the first thing he does is put me on an anti depressant. I have been using cipralex (10mg) for 3 day's. I have consumed the pill three times.. and I'm starting to feel the side effects. After doing some research on side effects such as weight gain/sexual dysfunction and withdrawl symptoms i no longer want to take it. Can I just stop? what will happen if I just stop taking them correct now? Will i go through withdrawl symptoms? and Whether i do, should I continue taking them? I dont know what to do and cant receive a hold of my doctor.

If you have issues with weight do what I did - try acai berry. Whether you have the desire to lose weight its superfood qualities help plenty - but those same qualities additionally help those who are trying to bulk up. Brilliant! There is a free trial on at the moment at http://gilomp.easyslimmingdiet.info why not try it, how worse could it make matters?

I don't think it's wise to just stop taking the pills randomly. I'm currently on Cipralex and I can tell you from first hand experience that most of the side effects go absent after the first while (headaches, etc) and you will begin to feel better. You also can't tell if the pills are going to or do work yet. At the very least, take the pills for the trial period (at least a month) and then see whether you want to continue taking them.

There are withdrawal symptoms famous with Cipralex but you need to refer to with your physician. Usually whether your physician is not available there is a on call doctor available for you. Please continue to call your physician for advise.

Don't stop bloodless turkey. The withdrawal symptoms can be quite uncomfortable. I'm on cipralex and I had a few unwanted side effects but they went absent within the first week or so. As for sexual dysfunction it is harder for me to arrive orgasm but when I do its more intense than before, which is awesome. Pills were the very last object I ever wanted to do and tried everything! After approximately 2 weeks I felt almost back to my old self again, so I am very happy I went on this specific medication. This antidepressant is one of the very best for side effects. Good Luck.
