What will happen if i just quit taking tetracycline bloodless turkey?

I been takin it for a year and i found some other product that i want to use topically instead of internally called exposed acne treatment. So 2 questions... 1) what happens (side effects) of stopping bloodless turkey tetracycline
and 2) Do you reccomend exposed acne treatment and whether not what is the best product you suggest out there to receive rid of my severe acne?

Nothing poor will happen to you whether u suddenly stop taking the tetracycline. It's possible, though, whether the tetracycline were actually keeping your acne controlled, that suddenly stopping it would allow your acne to flare back up. Whether your acne is severe, as you state, and the tetracycline isn't controlling it, then your dermatologist can either put you on a stronger antibiotic or accutane. Topical therapy really has no place in treating severe acne.
