Root canal tomorrow using Valium, what to expect?

I'm have a little bit of an anxiety trouble when it comes to someone flashing lights in my face and drilling through my teeth, so my dentist gave me Valium. Well I just basically want to know how it'll play out, I'm extremely sensitive around my gums so will it hurt?
that valium is gonna fuck you up.
heck yeah! i have gotten them before and it hurts like a mother fudger they numb you first but whether your not completely numbed tell them to give you another shot to numb you.
when i got mine done i didn't tell him to give me another shot because i was scared it would hurt but it hurts waaaay more not being numbed and feeling them drill holes in you'r gums
my dentist says to take a valium approximately 4 hours before the office visit and another as I arrive to the office.
I also take a 5/325 percocet after he is done working on me.
valium for the nerves and percocet for the pain and I'm happy as a clam.
