I've been taking these for about 4 months since I started taking this tablet, haven't missed a day, perhaps late on it by a few hours once but that's it. The last two months during my period it only lasts for maybe, half the day and it's over? And it's a very very very light period. Is this normal with this medication or should I be setting up an appointment with my doctor? Pregnant maybe?

The tablet is shutting down your entire reproductive system and so it's normal for taking the tablet. Your period on the pill is really just a fake period and not a true one. (a true period is induced by ovulation. But you don't ovulated when you're on the tablet. The period is really just breakthrough bleeding. You took a bunch of artificial hormones so that your endometrium (uterine lining) doesn't build up like normal. When you take the placebo pills and thus don't have artificial hormones in your body anymore, you have some withdrawal bleeding and that's your period.

The birth control pill is supposed to make your periods lighter. When taking them you are allowed a few hours leeway.
