So, since approximately the 9th of January (a Monday), each day I would receive these constant urges that I had to urinate. Sometimes I went and sometimes it was only a little bit or a dripple but basically nothing. I started drinking cranberry and blueberry juice at approximately the middle of the week and stayed home from school because it was so bothersome and discomforting. It didn't sting all the time though, only when I had to hold it. I stayed home Thursday and Friday of that week and I felt fine Thursday until night time rose and than I felt it all over again and Friday... They gave me the liquid medication and I took that for the 3 whole days needed and it didn't help... Than they gave me cipro pills and I took those for 5 days. I thought I was feeling better towards the 3rd day of using it but now they're all gone and I felt that way again nowadays...
I'm worried. I don't want my kidneys to receive infected or to have a trouble... This is getting really irritating, especially when I have to sit through my classes all day and wait till the end of the period to go to the bathroom. I felt fine since Friday and today its back again!
Can I have a little more detail... Why hasn't it been treated since my 2 weeks of medication use?
Can ovarian cysts cause this...?
You should undergo a urinalysis, and a sonography of Kub (kidneys, urinary tract and bladder). If you are male, the prostate has also to be checked in the sonography. Do not be alarmed. We develop problems and we solve them. That is the way we are created.
Usually when its a uti theres some kind of burning and whether its really poor, theres blood (thats the worst. Although everyones symptoms can be different. I would call a doctor and then drink plenty of fluids and crandberry juice to see if it gets better. Dont wait too long because it can progress into soemthing worse!
I know they have cranberry uti pills that say they help but ive always just called the physician and they call me in a perscription. That urge is a horrible feeling and its aggravating when theres barely anything coming out. I hope you feel better!
You should ask for some blood and urine tests.I had the same thing as you do but they found out I had a bladder disease called Interstitial Cystitis and that's what was causing all my symptoms. You must have an Uti,sometimes they are harder to treat,go to the physician again and ask for some tests,if the symptoms don't go away try to find a good urologist and make an appointment,he will help you.
It deginitely a Uti/Bladder infection. You need to go to a physician and he/she will put you on antibiotics to receive rid of the infection. Left untreated, an infection can spread to your kidneys. No, an Ovarian Cyst has nothing to do with urination.
It's a uti.
