It's possible that if you were seeing two doctors for two medical problems they might each prescribe medications that are essentially duplicates. But if you saw two doctors for the purpose of getting more medication that you need, then that is against the law.

It's highly unlikely they'd do so knowing about the other. Whether you've not told them approximately each other, then you're obtaining a controlled substance under false pretenses (wording varies from state to state), and that's usually a lower-level felony.

It's a grey area. ha whether the doctors prescribing them dont know approximately the other doctor then yeah you can get in some problem more than likely.
