Is it Ok to take Xanx and Trazodone at the same time?

I am on 100mg of Trazodone to help me sleep at night. It works pretty well, but I still occasionally wake up in the early morning. I was recently given a Xanax...I don't know how many mg it is but it says 93 833 on one side of it. Is it Ok to take them at the same time--at night?

Hi,
I am not a physician but I have experience in both. Trazodone helped me on the short term due to insomnia, I took 100mg as well. It did make me feel a bit strange and I always woke up with a very dry mouth. Xanax oh boy....I am currently weaing off of that one,very slowly. I never abused it but have been using it long term 2-3 years, I am down to 75mg 1x per day. I would have never started it if I new the ramifications. I have taken both together under doctor supervison. Do not drive or drink, and allow yourself time to wake up in the morning as you may feel unusual.What strength of Xanx?
